Having had a less expensive model that would only play from the 1st song and you had to scroll through all songs to find the one you wanted this is fantastic! Able to scroll through albums reduces a significant search time. Touch buttons took a little getting use to. Sound's great, looks good. Added bonus's for me - fairly good radio reception for somewhere out in the sticks! And also has built in USB connection (I did eventually stop looking for the lead when I read the instructions - doh!) so no need to search for that elusive lead amongst all the others. Found the software really easy to use, but did put them into the order I wanted before downloading - software puts songs into alphabetical order - I did read someone else's review on this so had advance warning! So can now keep on walking with that happy beat.

great mp3 player and good for a memory stick, great touch pad like the design
only downsides is that you need windows media player 10 and on mine im having trouble connecting to the computer using the usb. but it will still charge. only a problem if i want to use it as a memory stick

I chose this as my first MP3 player mainly so I could listen to the radio on the train. Unfortunately, radio reception out in the sticks in Hampshire is not great, particularly when you get onto the train. The earphone cord serves as an aerial. To get reception you often have to unwind the cord and hold the unit away from your body!
On the plus side: loading music is easy using the software supplied and actually you can also drag and drop MP3 files in Windows Explorer (XP). A note of caution: if your files are unnamed (not often the case but it can happen), the unit won't recognise them when loaded and you risk overwriting them next time you load unnamed files. To be safe, you have to both give the music tracks a name and also name the MP3 files - a bit laborious.
I've had no problem with the touch controls; sound quality is excellent and it's compact and smart. It would have helped if the earphone cable winder had been a tad bigger.

Overall it is excellent, touch buttons are really cool if you don't mind using the hold switch all the time. FM has really good reception and with 2GB you can get around 400songs on it. The pop out usb is very neat and the blue led is cool. It comes in a nice box and the supplied headphones are great, the only annoying thing is you have to use the supplied software to transfer songs, but it is not that hard.
Overall a bargain for 40!!!!

Had previous experience of the Samsung YP 1Gb model. That was great sturdily built and proper click buttons. It's still retained the drag and drop abilities on Windows but the build quality is very poor.
I couldn't quite understand what the other reviewers were saying until I experienced it's touch sensitivity. It's buttons are just touch sensitive with no 'feel' to them, they are woefully designed and overly sensitive.
