this is well worth 40 pound.got it for my ipod nano 4th gen works perfect good sound.

I bought this after spending a long while researching products that were available. After coming to the conclusion that to get a half decent sound you would have to spend some money - so when this came up on sale I got what can only be described, as a bargain! The sound is great it's exceptionally easy to use and looks good to. If I had to say anything bad about it, it doesn't run off batteries as an alternative but this is such a small criticism is really doesn't matter.

Bought this a few days ago after weeks of searching for decent speakers for my IPod and I love it!!! Deciding factor was the reveiws on this page and I'm glad I chose it. The sound quality is superb. Even songs that distort on my headphones when played loud play brilliantly on this. Don't hesitate - buy it!

Well after looking @ this all day and pondering over all the reviews, i took the plunge and ive ordered, it i now cant wait to get it and try it out.

At 40 quid this dock just cannot be beaten.
I was looking for a dock for my daughter and being a regular reader of What Hi-Fi I had originally stumped for the Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere. Although I was able to hear the sound the remote didn't work so I returned the product.
Although the Logitech will obviously have it's admirers through it's versatility of being portable and having a remote that does more than just play, stop and volume, for sound quality there is just no comparison.
The Athena offers a fantastic bass sound when you consider the size of the speakers and the volume is more than sufficient to fill a medium sized room. Mid range and treble are also excellent and at full volume there are no signs of distortion.
What attracted me to this product, price aside, was the fact that they are owned by Klipsch. Your own research will identify that this company produces some absolutley fantastic hi-hi products. I had toyed with the I-Groove but the price swayed me on this.
Not sure how long Amazon will leave the price at 40 but if you can grab one I would strongly recommend it.
