 OK for the gym, but don't expect great sound November 26, 2008
If, like me, you are fed up with your earbuds falling out of, or your earphones falling away from, your ears, then this is the product for you - no matter how mad you run/row they don't fall out. BUT, if you want to appreciate the bass-line to your latest Trance compliation during your work-out - FORGET IT !! The bass response is non-existant, despite Philips' claim. In summary, make sure that you know what you want these for BEFORE you buy them.
 Big on sound, Comfort and Value! November 23, 2008
I go through earphones like crazy due to the fact i use them close to daily and use them in all weather conditions when running and cycling! I bought these to replace a previous set of Philips earhooks which where great, hense i opted for another set by Philips and of the same design. Im shocked to hear a small minority of people rubishing the sound here, the bass is rich and punchy, the mids clear and open while the top end is sweet giving an overall powerfull yet clean sound. it must be noted tho, that the sound (obviously) varies between different formats and brands of player as with any earphone! I use my set with an Ipod. As for comfort i was impressed that they have included 3 ear bud sizes to suit a wider variety of ears, and yes they do come off from time to time but they are designed to be interchangeable! its a tiny niggle in what are great earphones! I guess those who have rated these 'poor' have way to high an expectation!

These are well made and fit really well. I am surprised at their quality especially as they are reasonably priced. I use them with my iPhone and the quality is excellent.
All round a great package, you can do a lot worse.

I've had these little beauties for about 3 months now and can't fault them. My previous headphones were of a similar type but became uncomfortable after about an hour. These are constructed from soft silicone and so are very comfortable to wear for long periods. The different sized ear buds are also very soft and consequently adapt well to your ear, improving fit and reducing ambient sounds. Complement these with the Creative Zen Stone MP3 player and you'll have the ultimate running setup! (IMHO)

Try Before You Buy!
They come with 3 different sizes of rubber ear plugs; none of which stay in my ears. If they fit your ears I think they'd be great, but none of them stay in my ears longer than 2 mins when jogging.
I strongly recommend trying them before you buy them!
