Bought this for our Daughter to play at her 1st birthday party. She absolutely loves it! On a recent car journey, she was inconsolable in her car seat, until my husband remembered that we had the CD with us. The minute he pressed play and she heard the opening song, she fell silent and sat there listening for the duration of the whole CD (well, she actually fell asleep before it ended). If your child loves In The Night Garden as much as ours does, it's well worth spending your pennies on!

Our 2 year old son is a huge Night Garden fan... This CD is fantastic on (long) car journeys. He loves listening to it over and over again, and because of the lovely tunes, we don't mind listening to it either! Any budding tantrums are quickly turned around by switching this CD on! Andrew Davenport, you've waved some real magic here!

I bought this CD for a long car journey with my little boy, who's coming up to 2 years old. He is a massive fan of Iggle Piggle & co and his eyes lit up at just the first few notes of the first track. He loved it. He listened avidly for as long as we would cope with it! The CD is not annoying as some kids' CDs are, but there is quite a bit of speaking (which is quiet), and music (which is loud), so you end up with ringing ears after a while from the bursts of music. We had to turn up the volume to hear the speaking parts, and couldn't keep turning it down again as we were driving! Maybe better for use in the home. Other than that though, a good purchase and I would well recommend it as it meant we had a few moments peace from entertaining him in the back seat!
