Stunning. Possibly the best debut album I've heard. February 20, 2010 film fan (Kent, UK) What an astonishing début album. I can easily see why this became the fastest selling début classical album in history. Her voice is exquisite and sounds like someone much older than her 13 years. I'm hoping that this young singing sensation doesn't let her fame get the better of her and that she stays grounded and keeps herself to herself. This young lady needs to be taken care of and to be nurtured. Faryl is in a word stunning.
The choice of songs for this astounding début is terrific. Opening with a gorgeous version of 'Amazing Grace' and finishing with a charming 'The Way Old Friends Do', this album is jaw-dropping, a peach and a joy to listen to. Her version of 'Annie's Song' is beautiful and delightful, 'Brahms' Lullaby' and 'Somewhere' are exemplary. And I just love 'Shenandoah' and 'Ave Maria'.
This is possibly my favourite début album I possess. This nightingale's voice is something that comes along once in a blue moon. The first time I heard her voice was when she appeared at the opening ceremony of the new Centre Court's new roof along with Katherine Jenkins in March 2009. I watched her and remember thinking "wow! This girl's extraordinary."
This album comes highly recommended from this reviewer and thinks that this talented young singer has lots of prospects ahead of her and her marvellous singing voice. Breathtaking.
Faryl January 31, 2010 Ashkima (Scotland UK.) This cd is lovely. Faryl has a beautiful voice which has not been spoilt by being to 'operatic' if you know what i mean. it is just a lovely sound.
Fresh and Beautiful January 11, 2010 J. Lyons I first heard Faryl singing on a CD which was being played in Salisbury Cathedral in July 2009; I was stopped in my tracks, her voice was so fresh and beautiful. I would have bought a CD there and then, but funds were running low at the time, but as soon as I was able I bought one. She has a voice that has to be listened to.
excellent+excellent+ fantazitoby January 1, 2010 Mrs. E. C. Newcomb (Derbyshire England) What a voice from one so young. She will go so far in her life. She is the star that sits on top of the tree for me.A brilliant buy.
