Ordered the cd for a relative for her birthday and it came in plenty of time and well priced. not a big fan meself but its ok if you like that kind of thing.

Paul Potts has an amazing voice, but how sad that on this album it is drowned out by the orchestra sometimes. Also the power and passion he shows when singing live is muted on this recording. They didn't need to damp his voice down on the mixing desk. I bought this to support Paul, so that's ok, but really, I wanted to relive the happiness and sadness that he can portray with his voice live.
Now he's has 'made it', he can record another album, that isn't recorded to be SAFE, and his voice can shine out.

I brought this for a present for the inlaws. I must say they love it. It is not something perhaps that I would have brought myself, but having heard it can understand the appeal. Definately a mothers choice.

Show some support, this guy gets up on stage after years of having no confidence and blows us all away, his voice is fantastic it brings everyone to tears, not many people can do this. Even made me not hate BGT anymore!
Buy it, dont listen to jealousy, this is a great album, very well done sir.

The whole thing is just such an embarassment. A Simon Callow confection, with so little talent. Have you read what PP says about himself? oh dear.
And just think about all the people with real talent, who want to sing in real opera and the sacrifices their parents make to get them into any voice tuition of quality.
+ those who have sung in the corus of opera on so many stages, knowing that they will never be the lead.
Same for Kathryn Jenkins. A Classic FM confection. When is her debut in any complete live opera? I am not holding my breath.
My sympathy for the marketing guys and gals as well, because as its just a marketing thing anyway, he just happens to be Plugg ugly, hence the angled shots on all the material. And the Venice cover..sums it up.
A Siegfied in the making, do me a favour.
