Good introduction to Classical music August 3, 2009

Compilations of music are always open to criticism, and this can't be avoided. The choice is very main stream, and some of the recording are not all they could be. However as an introduction, I think this is a bargain. It has many favourite tracks, many of which I had not seen on other compilations.
Personally I feel that the disks get poorer the further in you go, but its still an exciting and entertaining listen even if the cover is a bit cheesy.
