 Great for learning those letters!! November 27, 2008
I used this book with my eldest boy and am now buying another to use with the little'un. My 3 year old is beginning to grasp the idea of letters and knows maybe a third of them, so I think that now is an ideal time to start with this book and get the lot of them learnt!
Each letter is dealt with on one page. You are shown both the lower and upper case versions, the sound it makes and then there is an exercise to do - quite often circling the objects that start with that letter. My little boy always enjoyed doing that! After a couple of letters have been introduced then there is usually another exercise to practise them all. Of course there are also lots of stars to give out along the way for rewards :)
I thoroughly recommend this book but it is quite fast moving. It's probably one to try when your child has some grasp of the concept of letters already...

Each page of this book (and others in the series) is full of different things to do with the letter - much too much to take in for the average pre-schooler.
