"Just Julie" is a brilliant book! They just don't make women and fabulous actresses like her anymore.
Here, the great lady opens her heart and soul and tells the real story behind her incrediable life and long-lasting career. It will make you laugh, smile, cry and appauld her, Ms. Goodyear really is one gutsy lady who has known a lot of heartache and trouble throughout her life as well as her outstanding achievements and acting success but still, she comes across as a cheerful, un-spoilt and down to earth lady with a heart of gold.
This memoir makes for a great read so please do yourself a favour and buy it!

I Have to agree with everyone who Commented on this Book its Marvellously written so true to life + makes you Realize what a Great Lady she really is ! I loved it + recommenend it to everyone young or old !!!!!

the best book i have ever read,from start to finish i laughed,i cried.i felt like i was inside the book from start to end.but i never wanted it to end.well done julie goodyear,would love too meet you some day and say thankyou,but for now my heart and love is with you..

This autobiography by Julie Goodyear is a roller coaster of a journey and the reader definitely has to keep up.
In a way the role of Bet Lynch in Coronation Street was not really new to Julie as her parents ran a pub in Lancashire so as you read this you can identify with it.
Julie said that she went to Australia to promote Coronation Street, I would have liked her to tell what the Aussies thought of the show because I'm sure lots of people watch the show who live abroad.
It was an interesting read packed with drama, I think this book is one that you can read only the once.
I'm a fan of Corrie so probably other stars of the show will write their memoirs, I hope so but Julie's book was good.

Just Julie is the best autiobiography I've ever read. Its written with immense honesty. I couldnt put the book down as Julie takes you on a journey through her life to date. Julie has always been a favourite for me in Corry but the real life Julie is one formidable woman! If you buy one autiobiography this year - make this the one. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to all.
