An excellent course for anybody with an interest in Japan or for anyone aiming to be proficient in the Japanese language. This course well prepared me for the first two years of my degree in Japanese Studies at the University of Sheffield. All the core grammar is in here, the only downside is that the Japanese writing system is not introduced in this particular course. However if you buy: Remembering the Kanji by Heisig for your kanji learning alongside this Linguaphone course you will have an extraordinary advantage and will have an enviable Japanese language ability in terms of your grammatical knowledge and reading ability. On the whole a brilliant and enjoyable course with no scary linguistic explanations to put you off. I highly recommend this course! Ten out of ten.
