This CD Set is really good value. My 2 little uns aged 5 & 6 take in turns every night as to which story they want to listen to. Within 5 mins they are fast asleep !

Awesome product! I am looking forward to sharing this with my students. I love Roald Dahl, and the CD's will be great to listen to as a class. I have always read the books to the students, so this will be a treat for me. Also, if a child is absent they can easily catch up on what we read while they were away. Hurray for Roald Dahl reading many of these stories himself, that will be enjoyable for all.

Bought this for my 5 year old and he has been thoroughly delighted by it. Favourites = C&TCF and TMF. Great alternative to TV or the computer when they're tired or while colouring and so on, good in the car too. Enjoyed by my 3yr old too - can understand the fundamentals and some of the jokes. RD reads his stories beautifully and thoroughly recommend to anyone for themselves or as a gift.

Roald Dahl's voice is a delight. A refreshing change from the modern obsession for sound effects and other over-the-top techniques that, apparently, are added to capture a child's attention.
My two children listen to Dahl's audio CDs and read his books constantly. They enjoy many other styles of reading and story telling but I do believe Dahl has a special place in their hearts - and mine!
