 morning and evening meditations June 26, 2006

this is a relaxing a positive cd however it does go over the top sometimes in an american 'cheesy' way... for example 'giving thanks to your mailbox and the postman' and 'blessing the radio that you listen to' were a little too much for me... and i found it hard not to groan at the 'i love you' at the end of the evening meditation! For a more down to earth 'english' take on meditation, listen to glenn harrolds hypnosis cds.

I WANTED TO TRY MEDITATION, BUT DID NOT KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN!
I HAVE BEEN PLAYING THIS CD FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS NOW AND I FEEL SO MUCH MORE POSITIVE ABOUT LIFE. WHEN SOMEONE SAYS SOMETHING NEGATIVE I REPLY WITH A POSITIVE COMMENT OF APPRECIATION OF WHAT THEY THINK IS NEGATIVE. I SEE LIFE THROUGH DIFFERENT EYES.
I AM NOW PLAYING IT TO MY 8 YEAR OLD AND READING ONE OF LOUISE HAY BOOKS "ADVENTURES OF LULU" SHE LOVES THE STORIES AND THE CD PUT'S HER TO SLEEP AS FAST AS IT DOES ME. I LEAVE IT PLAYING TO THE SUB-CONSCIOUS MIND, IT MUST BE WORKING AS I FALL ASLEEP WITHIN 5 MINS.
SO GO FOR IT, WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO LOOSE?

I found this CD extremely useful for getting me ready for my day, even before I get out of bed! I love the concept of looking at the day ahead and blessing all the possible places you will be during the day - good opportunity to send out an affirmation for parking spaces for wherever you intend to be during the day :)
The evening meditation is also very good. I was touched by Louise's statement that our final thoughts at the end of the day go with us into our dreams and therefore why not make a peaceful and tranquil thought, rather a stressful one to give you bad dreams and possibly affect you getting a good night's worth of zzzs?
I highly recommend it!

This tape is really great. You can go to sleep to the nighttime one which reviews the day and puts everything to rest. The morning one sets the day up beautifully. I would recommend it highly for anyone finding life a bit tough.

This tape consists of one side to listen to when you wake and another just before you go to sleep. It is very relaxing and is a great way to get your thoughts out of the day's chaos and back into balance.
