First off, I haven't listened to the whole thing yet, so this review is based on my sampling of it.
But so far, very good, the audio quality is top notch; the readers are all clear and read at a good speed. One nice touch is that the producers have put in general background noises that help set the scene of when the book was written. Like some of Pauls letters have dripping noises and rattles of chains, reminding the listener that he was in prison at time of writing.
One slight annoyance is that all the MP3's are just on the CD; they were divided up into folders of book. They have clear file names and MP3 tags that split them into their correct books, but I personally like things in folders (Maybe I'm weird).
20 minutes puts them into folders anyway.
The other slight downside is the box itself, it holds all the CDs in a central holder, but there is no spindle to stop them knocking about, and the CD's do sound as though they have quite a bit of free movement.
That said, mine arrived in perfect condition and once you've copied the mp3s to your media player of choice you'll probably not have too much need for the CDs.
This box comes with a making of DVD which I've yet to watch.
Overall, a good buy, it's the type of audio bible that can happily play away in the background while you do whatever ever else, and it won't distract you, but still somehow gets absorbed into your brain. Perfect.

I initially wanted the whole Bible in MP3 format, but the seller only had the NT in this format, and the OT in normal CDs, so I accepted the change. I'm glad I did, because my car cd player can't handle mp3, so I can listen to the OT while driving. Very happy with the service and product. Well worth the money!

Having seen an advertisement for this I was keen to get it. Amazon offered the most reasonable price around - undercutting many by over 50%. I was not disappointed by the The Complete version.
By the end of Genesis 2 I was completely hooked. I have had it just over a week and find myself listening via my MP4 player daily - walking the dog, doing housework and gardening.....
The Bible comes alive and I find myself being able to imagine not only the events more easily, but myself as part of them.
There truly isn't anything more powerful than the spoken word - the passion and emotion invested by Actors inspires.
I have told friends of it. They are keen to listen too.
It makes the Bible more accessable - having had reading difficulties in the past, I have been put off by words that I can not begin to decide how to pronounce - here they are spoken and so become meaningful immediately.
Hearing something makes it real and also easier to remember.
I have also found that listening helps me fall into relaxed sleep when I have found it hard to switch off.
A really great product - the best thing I have ever bought!!!!!!!!!
