I'm not sure whether or not this album was the result of a real contractual obligation between the Pythons and their record company, but I do know that it contains some of their finest (if least well known) material.
Much like the similarly overlooked "Matching tie and handkercief" what you will find here is a frankly, hilarious collection of sketches and songs that won't be overly familiar from endless re-enactments down your local.
Some of this material did turn up on "The Final Rip off" collection but there is a lot of great stuff that got missed as well.
The medical love song for instance is an absolutely sublime ode to the joys of STD'S.
The Python die hards will of course already own this record but for anyone else whose main experience of the team had been endless viewings of the parrot sketch and Life of Brian I recommend you get your hands on a copy of this.
You'll find that the bookshop sketch and John Cleese's string marketing campaign sit comfortably alongside their other acknowledeged classics, and Eric Idle never betterd the songs contained here.
